Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion seeks community dancers for upcoming workshop and performance opportunities!
Commissioned by the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, Waterway/Lightway/Greenway will be a grand experiment combining dance, water, light, green space, and music. PDM collaborators Kara Fili, Lonnie Stanton, Kristin Wagner and J Michael Winward will fashion dances celebrating long gone highways and newly present illumination, with members of multiple communities performing alongside the PDM company of collaborators.
Do you want to dance with us? We have a few select spots for dedicated movers who wish to join us at The Greenway. If you have a sense of adventure, own some comfortable shoes and can make it to a few rehearsals and performances, join us!

How funny is your family? PDM seeks guest performing acts to augment our annual production of Funny Uncle Cabaret!
For almost 20 years, Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion has been challenging the “norm” of the “Nutcracker”. With his “Gumdrops and The Funny Uncle”, Peter highlights chosen families over the ones we are born to as a new norm. In our annual cabaret redux- “Funny Uncle Cabaret”, the company is welcoming dance, music and other performances that highlight unique families.
Performances will take place December 13-15, 2019 in Studio 7 at The Dance Complex in Central Square, Cambridge. The evening is a split bill with "Nut/Cracked" presented by The Bang Group (NYC).
Rehearsal schedule TBD. Guests will be given an honorarium for their participation.
