Created in residency at Villa Victoria Center for the Arts, with support from NEFA's Creative City Program
"Running From/Running To" engages the Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción/Villa Victoria Center for the Arts community in creative processes, resulting in performances and installation including dance, text and biographical imagery. The work, a collaboration among Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion, writers Josean Ortiz and Sue Katz, poet/photographer Pedro Cruz and community, illuminates the personal within the politics of establishing a sense of place, in and beyond subsets of a community.
